The MEAGS Comprehensive Glaucoma Course – Edition Unimed was held on 5–6 June 2026 at the Hotel The Nine Experience, La Marsa, Tunisia — a first of its kind in Tunisia, organized by the Middle East Africa Glaucoma Society (MEAGS), under the patronage of the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis and under the aegis of the Middle East Africa Council of Ophthalmology (MEACO), in collaboration with the Tunisian Society of Ophthalmology (STO), the Tunisian Glaucoma Society (STG), and Nadi Al Bassar.

Two full days covered the complete spectrum of glaucoma care: examination and diagnosis (tonometry, OCT, gonioscopy, perimetry, UBM), clinical cases, medical treatment and pharmacology, laser treatments (iridotomy, trabeculoplasty), and surgical treatment including a hands-on trabeculectomy workshop.
